I chose family practice as my specialty because I wanted to attain a broad range of medical knowledge and care for people of all ages. Family Nursing Practice was my focus at the University of California, Los Angeles where I earned my masters in nursing in 1998. I’m a firm believer in the mind/body connection and in treating the whole person, not just their illness. My approach is to coach and encourage my patients to choose healthy options and live well even if they have a chronic condition or disease. I draw from the latest evidence based medical and nursing research to tailor care to each patient’s unique needs and lifestyle.
My favorite leisure time activities include reading, walking my dogs and spending time with my family.
