Preventive care is where Dr. Ranney's practice begins. He believes that helping his patients achieve good health means educating them on living a healthy lifestyle. The best way to treat disease is to prevent it from ever occurring. Dr. Ranney chose to pursue a career in medicine because of his interest in science. He finds the science of medicine to be a challenge - but enjoys the personal aspect of applying those medical principles to his patients. To him, there's nothing more satisfying than knowing he's helped one of his patients improve their quality of health.
