IPL Photo Rejuvenation

Is there a safe and easy way to get rid of your red complexion, fine wrinkles, uneven pigmentation and reduce large pores? Yes, and it’s called IPL Photo Rejuvenation—a breakthrough in age-defying skin care. IPL technology gently delivers precise amounts of light energy through the skin’s surface to stimulate the production of collagen. As the new collagen forms, it softens the appearance of aging skin. Fine lines and wrinkles caused by sun damage or aging are reduced, dark spots are dramatically improved, and the redness associated with rosacea and facial veins is reduced.

Photo rejuvenation treatments can restore a more youthful appearance and improve skin texture without any downtime—allowing you to return to work or activities immediately. Most commonly treated areas include the face, neck, chest and hands. Each treatment typically takes 10-20 minutes. Excellent long-term results can usually be achieved with a series of four to six treatments.

Laser Treatment of Facial Veins and Rosacea

The VBeam Laser offers highly successful treatment of rosacea, facial veins and other conditions that create redness in the skin. This advanced laser produces an intense but gentle burst of light that treats the cause of the redness—without damaging the surrounding skin and tissue. The light destroys the targeted blood vessels, which are then reabsorbed by the body, reducing redness and leaving a cleaner, refreshed appearance.

There is no need for anesthetic or pain medications. VBeam laser treatments are non-invasive and patients typically experience little more than a slight sting. While the benefits of VBeam may be seen after one short office visit, two to four treatments are necessary to produce the best results.

Restylane™: Today’s Most Popular Derma Filler

This safe and natural filler contains hyaluronic acid, an essential element of the skin’s structure that diminishes with age. By replacing the hyaluronic acid that is crucial to young-looking skin, Restylane safely smoothes away wrinkles and folds. In addition to eliminating facial lines, Restylane can also add fullness to thinning lips and cheeks.

Restylane offers a completely natural appearance and feel, making it the leading dermal filler on the market today.

Results typically last four to six months. Discomfort is minimal and is reduced by a topical anesthetic applied prior to treatment.

Sclerotherapy: Eliminating Spider Veins

Those small clusters of red, blue or purple veins on the thighs, calves and ankles—known as spider veins—can be unattractive. Sclerotherapy allows you to eliminate these unsightly veins, leaving your legs looking younger and healthier.

This popular and safe treatment involves injecting a solution that collapses the veins, causing them to fade away and be reabsorbed by the body. The procedure requires no anesthesia and usually takes approximately 30 minutes. The number of veins injected in each session varies, depending on the size and location of the veins. Often, two or more sessions are needed to achieve the desired results.

BOTOX Cosmetic™

The cosmetic form of botulinum toxin, known by its product name BOTOX Cosmetic™,

is a popular non-surgical injection that temporarily reduces or eliminates frown lines, forehead creases, crows feet near the eyes, and thick bands in the neck. This purified protein toxin interrupts specific nerve impulses, preventing unwanted muscle activity that causes wrinkles. The strategic relaxation of certain facial muscles gives the skin a smoother, more refreshed appearance. One 10-minute treatment—a few tiny injections—and within days there’s a noticeable improvement in facial lines and folds, an improvement which can last up to four months.

Laser Hair Removal

Looking for a better solution for removing unwanted black or dark brown hair? Laser hair removal offers safety, versatility and effectiveness, as it gently diminishes dark hair growth. And because numerous hair follicles are treated simultaneously, even the largest areas of the body can be treated quickly and effectively.

Since hair follicles grow and re-grow in cycles—and only growing follicles are affected by laser removal—more than one treatment will be necessary to achieve the best result. Four to six sessions are often recommended, separated by several weeks, with occasional touch-ups thereafter.
